A: LAC Malaysia will implement e-invoices effective 1st April 2025, in compliance with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) regulations.
Q2: What is the deadline to request an e-invoice?
A: You must request your e-invoice by the last day of the month following the delivery date of your order. After this deadline, e-invoices become inaccessible.
Q3: What if my purchase was at month-end?
A: For purchases on the last day or day before month-end, ensure you claim your e-invoice by the 3rd day of the following month.
Q4: Can I request my e-invoice right after I buy something?
- A: Not immediately. There's a processing time:
- Retail Purchase: Available 1 day after purchase.
- Online Order: Available 2 working days after purchase.
Q5: How do I access the e-invoice portal?
A: Use either of these methods:
- Weblink: Visit https://einvoice.lacworldwide.com.my/.
- QR Code: Scan the QR code on your receipt or in the guide using your smartphone.
Q6: What if the portal isn’t working?
A: Processing times may vary depending on server speed. If issues persist, ensure your internet connection is stable and retry. Contact LAC Hello (hello@lacworldwide.com.my) for further assistance.
Q7: What if I enter the wrong transaction number or details?
A: Double-check your receipt or order confirmation for accuracy. Incorrect details will prevent retrieval. If submitted incorrectly, resubmit with the correct information.
Q8: How long does processing take?
A: Processing typically takes a few minutes but may vary depending on government server speeds.
Q9: How am I going to receive my e-invoice?
A: A validated e-invoice will be sent to your registered email from “LAC Malaysia e-Invoice”.
Q10: What if I don’t receive the email?
A: Check your spam/junk folder. If still missing, log into the portal and resubmit your request or contact LAC Hello (hello@lacworldwide.com.my).
Q11: How do I check my e-invoice submission status?
A: Scan the same QR code or revisit the portal, then re-enter your Transaction Number to view the status.
Q12: I purchased LAC products via Guardian/Lazada/Shopee. Can I request the e-invoice from LAC?
A: No. E-invoices for purchases made through these platforms must be requested from the respective vendor/platform.
